In early 2019, the folks over at Vectornator asked if I would create something for their Weekly Artworks Gallery on Instagram. They were looking to promote illustrators who were taking advantage of all their app has to offer on the iPad.

If you haven’t noticed, Vectornator is currently a huge part of my of my workflow, whether it’s with my illustration work or my lettering.

This piece was nearly created entirely with Vectornator (minus the sketch, which was done in Procreate). The vectorizing of the lettering, the long shadow, the gradient, and the texture was all done in Vectornator. The finished piece even made an appearance in their promotional video for Vectornator X (see below).
